About Me
Adam grew up in Columbia, Illinois, just outside of St. Louis, Missouri. He earned his B.S. in Biology-Chemistry from Dominican University in Chicago. After graduation, he worked at Cour Pharmaceuticals Development Company, where he researched protein expression and purification in the context of autoimmune disease drug development.
At UT Austin, Adam is pursuing his Ph.D. in Chemistry and has joined The Newberry Lab to study how chemistry affects protein structure and misfolding.
Outside the lab, Adam enjoys staying active by running, going to the gym, and playing soccer. He also enjoys discovering new coffee shops and experimenting with new recipes. One day, he hopes to have a breakfast and coffee shop of his own.
